Retiring down to Lyme Regis from London our Mum, never one to sit still, took up a number of voluntary roles.
One was with the local guild for RNLI fundraising and eventually became the chairperson with responsibility for organising many fundraising activities including the very busy and succesful Lifeboat week. The duck race held on the river during the week is now named in her memory.
Her final gift to the work of the RNLI was a bequest in her will.
We are forever proud of her work.
