My sister was a proud Yorkshire woman who loved the sea; swimming, sailing and kayaking whenever she had the opportunity. She was an active member of the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat crew at Atlantic College.
When diagnosed with cancer, I promised her I would get her into the sea one last time. This proved impossible, so adding her name to the lifeboat was the next best thing.
Go ahead Joanne, make a BIG SPLASH and continue to help out in the wonderful company of others.
