Barbara Elliott unexpectedly passed away in November 2021; deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a kind and compassionate soul and loved Whitby. She always said it was her favourite place to visit, often popping over on the bus from “Boro” with her sister or going with her son and grandkids. So, the chance to add her name to the new Whitby lifeboat seemed like such a wonderful thing to do, to honour her memory and the good work of the RNLI. Thank you, RNLI. Mam, thinking of you as always. x
