In memory of my darling husband who loved the sea and who learnt to sail from the age of 8. He could navigate with a simple compass and always got us out of trouble on our many sailing adventures. His ancestors were cornishmen, from Hayle, many of whom were mariners, or ships carpenters etc. A number of them manned the Hayle Lifeboat in years gone by. Mark dreamt of owning a yacht that could cross the Atlantic. As his brother said in his Eulogy: "May you have fair winds and following seas".
