Charles ‘Charlie’ Randles
Our dad started going to sea at 15 and later joined the Merchant Navy, serving on the Atlantic and Maltese convoys during WW2. He was a crew member of the MV Brisbane Star in August 1942 as part of Operation Pedestal during the siege of Malta. He always loved the sea and had great admiration for the RNLI. He is sadly missed by all his family.
