HMS Medway was torpedoed and sank off Alexandria on the 30th June, 1942. Dennis 'Pop' Lendrem was fished from the water, but his two best friends Jack and Jock were killed. Pop never forgot Jack and Jock. The three friends are finally reunited on the Whitby Lifeboat.
