My wife Grace(nee Picknett) and I Lovingly put Tommy Picknett's name on Whitby@s new lifeboat. He served on Redcar lifeboats for 17.5 years becoming coxwain in 1957 and retiring December 1961. This photo shows him presenting a barometer to retiring coxwain Joe Hall, also John Stonehouse coxwain of Teesmouth lifeboat is presenting Joe's certificate of service.
