Brian Askew
Brian was a wonderful Uncle. As a child with my brother and parents, and eventually with my husband and our own children, wonderful holidays were spent with him. Whitby and Brian were a safe haven, a second home to us and our happy place. We were blessed to have him.
Brian will live on in our hearts always. With this inscription in his memory, he will also live on in the town he loved. His great grandfather Richard Eglon was second Coxswain of Whitby Lifeboat, so this feels poignant.
