In 2023 it's been 10 years since dad died. He made his life (and ours) in Staithes, a community by the sea. He taught at Caedmon School to many of the sons and daughters of the fisherfolk of Whitby, and, although not known for his seafaring antics, he threw himself into making Staithes Fishermens Choir a lifeblood of the community. He would have enjoyed having his name etched onto Whitby's new lifeboat, so his passion for caring for the people of the town can continue long into the future.
