In memory of a dear dad, grandad and great grandad, he was born and brought up in Flamborough Head, where he fished from a cobble and later from trawlers in Grimsby. He was a true Yorkshire man, and his family had ties with the Flamborough lifeboat for many years. He is greatly missed.
