Mum and Dad didn't have a honeymoon until 16 years after they were married but when they did, they had a week in Whitby.
They both loved being by the sea, and after Dad passed away my Mum enjoyed coming to Whitby for a week for many years with myself and my friends. My memories of those weeks away are precious and will last a lifetime, as sadly Mum passed away two years ago. Comforting thoughts knowing their names will be on the Whitby lifeboat together in a place that was special to them.
