Frank McCormack

Frank was a NY orphan. He joined the Merchant Navy at 15, escorted convoys across the Atlantic during WW2 and when the US joined the war he joined the US Navy. I met Frank in the 1970s when I went to work for him as his secretary when he was running Astro Marine in Dubai UAE. He was a truly wonderful man. My Dad died when I was 6, Frank became the father I never had. He loved boats, the sea & UK Admiralty charts! He died of cancer in 1985. He would be so proud to be named on an RNLI lifeboat.
