Our Dad, Phil, was an active promoter of Folk music in Ireland from the 70s. He was one-third member of The Voice Squad. He had many friends all over Britain he met at festivals and gigs. We travelled to Whitby with him to sing in the 00s. He had a love of the area, history, songs and people. We have wonderful memories of foggy nights and welcoming people, great music and love. Whitby holds a special memory for us and a connection to our lovely dad, who suddenly passed on 31st May 2022.
