My mum has recently passed away, my heart is broken but having mum's name on the Whitby lifeboat warms my heart, I am a wild swimmer, living in Devon and swim all year round in a swimming costume, when mum visited I would take her to the beach and she would paddle in the sea. As children we had many seaside holidays and having the RNLI lifeguards on beaches made us feel safe.
Keep up all the good work you do, your teams are inspirational.
