My dad died 26 years ago and he’s missed every day. He loved the sea and was a merchant seaman for many years so his name on an RNLI lifeboat is a perfect way to remember him. He passed from cancer which takes too many people. We lived in the north east and I remember how we often visited Whitby for days or weekend trips. I now live in Brixham, Devon by the sea and watch the RNLI lifeboat going out so every time I watch it, I’ll think of the Whitby boat, and in turn, my dad. Thank you.
