George Milton Horne
We met George and his wife Cathy in 1995 at the 1st birthday celebration of their grandchild Cameron. We were immediately struck by his warm, friendly personality and I'm pleased to say that as the years went by, these traits and the unmistakable twinkle in his eye never altered. His interest in current affairs was well known and one of my earliest memories of him was his effortless ability to complete the most difficult cryptic crosswords. RIP George, it was such a pleasure to know you.
