Our mum Angela loved the sea, grew up on the south coast, and supported RNLI throughout her life. In her final years in Yorkshire she enjoyed visiting Whitby and Sandsend for the sea air, scenery and, of course, fish and chips and ice cream. She loved taking her grandchildren to the seaside at Scarborough, showing them the donkeys and lifeboat station. She brought comfort to many, and we're delighted her name will be on the new lifeboat at Whitby as it saves lives and reunites loved-ones.
