My mum Janice lived in Whitby for over 20 years she was married to our Dad Chris Gledhill and together they ran Prospect Villa hotel. They were also Major and Mayoress of Whitby twice and have a street named after them in Whitby Gledhill Drive. My mum supported the life boat service and would be so pleased to be on this new boat. She passed away this year in 2022 and we miss her so much and love the thought her name will be on the lifeboat in her memory.
