Edith Fox & Bernard Fox
Our late mother had a silver RNLI medal for 45 years fundraising. Growing up we all pitched in to raise money for the Lifeboats: Flag Day, carol singing, Father's Day lunches for the village in our garden. Our parents met during World War II when Bernard Fox was a Naval Officer who fell in love with a Wren, Edith Barr, in 1943. Theirs was a love story which lasted for 70 years. The Fox family is delighted to commemorate their story on this special Duke of Edinburgh Lifeboat.
