Anthony Chief Carey, joined the navy as a boy sailor aged just 15. He switched from ships to submarines He went from boy sailor to Chief Petty Officer in the silent service notching up 25 years service.
He was married to Margaret and Pippa and had three children Jonathon, Sharon, and Amanda.
Dad was the life & sole of any party, always had a good story! He has left a huge hole and is so much missed by family and friends, thanks Dad for everything, all the love you shared, watch over us all
