My Dad, his big heart and cheeky smile brought people together. He would be so proud that his name was on this special lifeboat. He travelled the world in the Merchant Navy, a time of his life he loved and told us all many a story about. He loved being on the water and had his own boat where he lived on Mersea Island. He loved to laugh and enjoyed a joke, a pint down the pub was always a good time. He got this life right, laughter and love was how he lived with the biggest smile and warm hugs.
