Norman Daniels
Norman was a supporter of the RNLI for over 60 years. He tried to raise money for them in any way he could and even grew and sold his own vegetables. In 2008 he received a Silver Badge to recognise all the fundraising he did. This award was presented by Allen Frary, Coxswain of the Wells-Next-The-Sea Lifeboat so to have his name commemorated on the new Wells Lifeboat seems a very fitting tribute. In 2017 he was awarded a Gold Badge and had this presented at The Barbican.
