Lt Cdr Roger Sly
We lost our Dad in 2008, he was a wonderful husband, and father to five children and an inspiration and example to us all. He spent his early life at sea, embarking on his first voyage at the age of 17. When he came ashore he continued to work in shipping and was also heavily involved in the Royal Naval Reserve. He taught each of us so much, was a great listener and mentor, and showed each of us what could be achieved with hard work and honesty. He is greatly missed but so fondly remembered.
