My Dad, John Rogers

My Dad (step dad from the age of 15) started at Gravesend's Sea School, 1967, he went to sea as a boy that would turn up at Dover and join a ship to go deep sea get paid in cash and when the cash was gone he would go back to sea, Dad started in the engine room and retired as Bosun for DFDS, from the Cape of Good Hope to the challenges of the English Channel. My Dad was a sailor, I am so proud that he will now be at sea forever on xlifeboat, fair winds sailor, you watch is done. Love you Dad
