Better than cousins!   Lisa, a friend when I was a school kid once said to me “my cousins are coming to visit, it is going to be hell – I can’t stand them.” I was shocked.   I have continued to be shocked by anyone else who has expressed this view about their cousins.  To me, my cousins were a source of unbridled excitement and joy.  From when we were very young the prospect of a visit would send us wild with excitement to the point that our parents often had to keep secrets about arrival time
