In memory of my dad, who served in the Royal Navy during WW2 on HMS Duke of York. He crossed the equator on 19th June 1945, aged 19, en route to Australia and the Far East. He would be proud to see his name carried out to sea again, and on this lifeboat especially so. A lovely man, greatly missed.
