William George Wood
Frances, Michael Gillian and Family
In 1918 our Great Uncle William joined up and like so many made the ultimate sacrifice, his final resting place is in France close to where he fell. He died 3 months before the end of the war, never reaching his 18th Birthday. We know very little of his short life other than he was a much loved son and brother whose loss caused a deep and everlasting grief. Remembering a young man who can now ride the waves with the crew.
