My dad was an RNLI supporter for many years. In the Royal Navy for 27 years he held a deep respect for the sea, aware of its awesome power. I grew up on the south coast and have spent years, both club sailing in small boats and offshore racing in yachts so have a similar respect for the sea. When dad died in 2010 I chose to support the RNLI in his memory happy to continue something he believed in. Dad was always there for me and with his name on Exmouth Shannon he would be there for others.
