The ocean and sailing played a very big part in Mark’s life. From early dinghy sailing he progressed to windsurfing, then yachts, representing Great Britain in the Commodore’s Cup, and paddle boarding. Always keen to go wave jumping he had a 20knot rule which dictated he left work if there was a blow to go windsurfing at Hill Head. Supporting the RNLI from dinghy days, it is fitting Mark will join the Exmouth Crew when out in a blow. Taken far too soon, you will never be forgotten.
