John Watt

Family Watt and Woudstra

Our father John, from Montrose, Scotland was a lifetime supporter of the RNLI. The Watt family have a very long association with the sea.  Generations of fishermen, then ship engineers. Our Great Grandfather - David Watt was awarded a medal from the Norwegian King in November 1916 for rescuing the crew of the schooner Heistad which ran aground in November 1916. We have only admiration for the brave men and women of the RNLI who tackle call-outs in all weathers.
