Ian was our wonderful son-in-law who died suddenly in August 2020, leaving our daughter Catherine a widow at 42 and their three lovely children fatherless.
Before her marriage Catherine , and her sister Charlotte, were brought up in Exeter, where the family home was for 38 years. Catherine and Ian were married for 10 years and, although their home together was in the Home Counties, they loved returning to Devon whenever they could. Ian loved sailing and had hoped to retire near the sea one day.
