Lilian Mary Winn
It is good that my aunts name can be put on the Exmouth lifeboat. She loved Devon having been evacuated in 1939 to live with her aunt and uncle in Topsham. Earlier that year she had spent an idyllic month staying with them which was a marked contrast to her life in the East End of London. So it is fitting that she will be remembered in Devon.
We hope the boat will save many lives.
