Arthur Baker
His granddaughter & family
Arthur (grandad) started out as an RAF engineer in WW2, and later in life developed a passion for boats & sailing. He loved being out on the water as ‘captain’. When I was younger, grandad would take me on the bus to the RNLI station to look at the lifeboats. We’d get up close to them & he’d show me how they worked. He supported the RNLI for years & years, and had so much respect for what they do - he’d have been honoured to have his name on the side of one of these boats ❤️
