In loving memory of Frederick Walter Childs (Fred) who served in the Royal Navy during WWII and was always an avid supporter of the RNLI. He passed away on 23rd March 2024 at the amazing age of 99 years. He was a much loved Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad who throughout his years spoke fondly of his time as a sailor and shared his memories with us all. He would be honoured to know that his name is on a lifeboat in his memory ~ 'Fair Winds and Following Seas'
