I'm honouring my wife, Jane, who is renowned for her caring. She is also known here in Allhallows, Kent, as "The Bird Lady" as she also takes in sick, injured and orphaned wild birds, rehabilitates them and returns those she can to the wild. She's been doing all this for over 25 years and STILL found time to be Mum to our two children. She feels sort of duty-bound to help people and animals wherever and whenever she can, like the RNLI! Having her name on a Lifeboat is a fitting tribute to her.
