Maurice Gilchrist (Big Mo)
In his younger years my dad was first in the military police then a lifeboatman in the merchant navy, he spent several years sailing around the globe. He loved to sail, one of my best weeks sailing was with my best friend and dad Big Mo. We lost him suddenly to a heart attack in 2013 aged 79. We love and miss him dearly. He would love being remembered on Clifden's lifeboat St Christopher going back out to sea.
