Mum always supported the RNLI being from a coastal family she was aware of how beautiful but unforgiving the sea could be.
Mum loved to travel with many an unexpected adventure along the way but her favourite place was always by the sea. Our family holidays were always beach ones and we would often watch the lifeboat being launched.
The thought she can ride the waves being there to help someone in their time of need is a fitting tribute to a much loved and remarkable woman.
