Our dad loved the water, he was in the Merchant Navy as a youngster he lived on board a boat with his family.
We had many happy holidays cruising down the local rivers and canals.
Dad always loved to look at the RNLI lifeboats whenever he got the opportunity.
We thought that adding his name onto the side of the life boat was an extremely fitting tribute to our extremely special dad.
We love you and miss you every day dad.
