My Dad was an angler. He loved nothing more than sitting on a riverbank. Because of that he taught us to swim at a very young age, to have respect for the water and for those who worked tirelessly to keep us safe whist we enjoyed it.
We were taken to many Lifeboat Stations and put hundreds of pound in donation boxes with a little lifeboat and boat station. This was our childhood and that of his grandchildren. His Great-Grandson was only 14-month when Dad died - We with teach him that respect
