I had been supporting the RNLI for 18 months when I heard about three fishermen who were lost at sea in Brixham on the Joanna C fishing trawler. It was very sad to hear of this tragedy, so, when I heard about Launch a Memory, I decided to combine my love for the RNLI with my love for my Grandpa James, who came from South Shields Tyneside, he was a Marine. I think he would have been very proud of his name being on a lifeboat & so is my Grandmother who was also delighted this Christmas.
