In memory of Albert "Bébert" Simon

Born and raised in Brussels, Albert Simon spent childhood summers with family in Portballintrae on the north Antrim coast, in and on the water in his boat, the "Yogi Bear". He joined the Belgian Merchant Navy in 1968 and sailed the world for 10 years. Settling down to raise his family he never lost his love for the sea, or for Ireland and its rugged coast. We lost our beloved Bébert in September 2012, but now he will be connected once more to the wild Atlantic he loved so much.
