Thomas Flavin Walsh
Thomas Flavin Walsh was bowman and crew member on the Ballycotton Lifeboat for 25 years and saved 101 lives.
He was bowman on the Mary Stanford Lifeboat, Ballycotton for the Daunt Rock Rescue of 1936. In one of the most demanding rescues ever undertaken by the RNLI.
Thomas Flavin Walsh was my Great Grandfather, as a current crew member of the Ballycotton RNLI I am extremely proud of him and his fellow crew.
