Dad was a doctor in Ramsey, Isle of Man and often went out with the lifeboat. He could not swim, and on one memorable occaision was helicoptered out to the lifeboat to attend a fisherman in distress. He was winched down, but swirling mists meant he could not see the lifeboat. A voice from below shouted " Jump now doctor!", so he did!
