We are a family from South Shields in Tyneside and my dad was a true Geordie bloke, humorous, kind, caring and always thinking of others first! Dad was taken by the Covid virus in May 2020 very suddenly. We suffered his early loss and weren’t able to mourn together because of restrictions. I am proud that my dad was the wonderful man he was and that his name will be on the side of your life saving boat; I am proud that my dad will be riding the waves alongside your courageous volunteers.
