We can't think of a better way to remember our Dad, a gentle, special man who loved the sea. He instilled in us great respect for it. Amongst other things, he helped train a local lifeboat member to learn morse code, having been in the Merchant Navy during the 1939-45 war. His Dad also sailed during the first World War and was mentioned in despatches for his bravery. Dad would be very proud to know his name was part of this RNLI boat, in its service protecting and saving lives.
