Sam Samuells 1934-2019
Sam loved the sea and all things boats. He spent 5 years in the RAF's Air Sea Rescue based at Tenby where he was known as 'Sam the Ropes'. All through his life he managed to get aboard many boats of all types and became an enthusiastic Governor member of RNLI after he was 'rescued' off Portland Bill. He spent many hours volunteering for RNLI at the Boat Show or rattling tins at his local supermarket. He would be chuffed to know he is still helping to save lives at Clifden.
