As Lord Mayor of Canterbury in 2006 and 2010, Barbara stood by my side as Lady Mayoress and as part of her duties raised thousands of pounds for Whitstable RNLI, a cause close to her and one I continue to support. I am an education volunteer. Barbara passed in 2018 and I can think of no better legacy.
