William Hudson

Remembering William Hudson b1837 in Kent, later moving to Poole. A Navy man of 14 years, then docker on Poole Quay. Living for many years in Church Street, Poole where his grandson John Squires was born (1926-2018). They remained close until William's death in 1961. John was a great RNLI supporter and often said he would love to dedicate an RNLI boat to William's memory. Having remembered John last year on the Agnes AP Barr (RNLI 13-37) it seemed fitting this year to remember William.
