I am delighted to remember my dear Mother, Teresa in this way, her name will be on the new Clifden Shannon boat. I come from a line of Irish & Welsh seafarers on both sides of my family my Mum & Dad met because he was crew on a ship with her brother. Dad went to sea at 14 and spent over 50 years in the Merchant Navy, from deckhand to Commodore at his retirement. My Mum was a lifelong supporter of the RNLI & taught us a deep gratitude for their selfless work to save lives at sea.
