Our dad died at Mullion Cove in 2007 aged 42. We were both 13 and 15 at the time. We know the lifeboat crew tried to save him but it was too late and he drowned. They tried so hard to help him but the bad weather was too strong. We collected £1500 at his funeral and dedicated it to the RNLI. Our mum got a telephone call thanking us for the money. All these years on and it seems only fitting he should have his name on a lifeboat. They bravely risk their own lives to help others voluntarily
